WHAT MEN WANT



Most times, I hear people ask this very clear question, What do men really want?
Often than none, this questions are been asked by ladies, women, girls etc..
Sincerely, As a man, I don't even know what i want!!
But I considerably know "What men wants"..

Let's define who "Men" is, it will help us get a clearer picture of what we are talking about.

The word "Men" is a plural word for a man. It is collective, and encompasses the transformation of the masculine gender from a prebuscent young boy into a more relative adult man..

Because it is a collective noun that names a particular gender perspective of human's, it is often generalized while used in addressing these set of person's..
When categorized, people who fall under this category tends to get frightened, because there is alot that  comes along falling in the category of men...

These very category of people are singular per person ..
Because they are singular, they are ofcourse different. and because they are different, they have different views, belief and perspectives of life...

BEING A MAN

From a very young age, men are taught to avoid appearing weak at all costs. Perceived “weakness” includes things like complaining, divulging fears or concerns, and expressing self-doubt or worry..

Hence they are compelled to always "BE A MAN".
The moment a male gender matures from a boy into an adult man, he is always pushed to the walls with this phrase "BE A MAN". It encapsulates his intellectual mentality.. This phrasal sentence covers his mind. He thinks and acts according to the direction and set rules  accompanying the caption BE A MAN.

Subsequently, as time goes on, he tends to understand that being a man is not just to avoid appearing weak or divulging fear.
But BEING A MAN is accepting Responsibilities.. 

A whole lot of controversies; of having to always be gentle and taking for granted even when offended, of always having to cry in silence in order not to show weakness, 
Embedded in the ability to expect the unacceptable things..

All these just revolves round trying to be a man ..

You see, the task is not so easy as it seems. 
In as much as one has to be a man, He is not restricted from making choices...

  • MEN HAVE CHOICES

Collectively referring to different kinds of "Man" as "MEN", it is essential to note that they make choices which is so personal and often times biased, because of time based "state of mind"..

Like the saying "One man's food is another's poison". Men are not left out in making choices that directly affect their daily affairs and most times their lifetime legacies..

Nature made creation in such a way that, everyone is articulately composed out of nativity.  Each person accordingly to his weaknesses and strenght. 

This further explains the fact that what is good for a particular man, might not be encouraging for the other.. Even though they are all "MEN"

This difference in choices and hunger taste, affects "What they literally want"...

Hence, a man should not be criticized for choices he makes in life. For those choices are born out of circumstances and need to fill in the lags behind..

  • MEN ARE VULNERABLE TO WHAT THEY SEE

Seeing is believing.
"Men" believes more on the information their eyes could feed them.
Because the heart of a man is always entangled with were his treasure is, and those treasures are what he sees with his eyes and feels in his heart..

The dream of becoming successful, is powered through the act of visioning/envisaging  the future and living by it..

Men make choices out of what they see.. This entails that In other to make the right choice, A man needs to be exposed to the right sight..

 That been butressed, The next question is, How then do one know what Men Wants?.
Since they are tied to Responsibilities, Vulnerable to what they see and this things they see affect their choices ??

  • WHAT MEN ACTUALLY WANT 
1. Men wants success: Everyman wants to be successful at all cost. They go extra miles in making sure they live the life of their dreams.. Some make moves outside their comfort zones, places of origin, etc in search of greener pastures..

They overwork themselves most times to make sure ends definetely meets. It's often strenous, but the responsibility of "BE A MAN" keeps them striving...

Just like the way like terms attract, Men tends to be attracted to people who understands success, values it, and are willing not to give up on them during these challenging time of success pursuit..

2. Men wants to be HERO'S
They always wants to show they have it all figured out. They want to win. They want to change the world..

Can you be a motivator? Can you be an encouragement?
If yes, you know what a man already wants..

3. Men Wants Respect
Men feel respect as love.

If a man feels like you disapprove of him, his career, or the things that he believes to be integral to who he is as a person, he will have a hard time trusting and loving you.

It doesn't matter where the respect is coming from, they just want to be respected ..
"They believe that one has to respect them in order to identically know what is best for them".

If a man’s partner doesn’t respect his path or mission in life, then he will find it very difficult to feel anything other than an anxious need to distance himself from her..

4. Support from Partner 
Every man wants to be in a relationship. This then means he wants a partner. That does not just mean someone to go out to dinner and get intimate with, it also means someone that he can build a life with and make important decision with.

When two people are partners, they listen to each other and value each other’s opinions, especially when it comes to the big things in life. Partners support each other and do not tear each other down.

In a partnership, the two people involved have to remember that one person should not give while the other person does all of the taking. This can apply to anything from making the effort to spend time together, to sharing the housework if you live together. A partnership means that you do it together..

5. Peace Of mind
Without peace of mind, the soul, spirit and body cannot communicate effectively. The brain also cannot function efficiently without "Peace of the mind".

A man wants peace at all cost. If going outside his environs will give him peace of mind, he won't hesitate doing so.. If clubbing gives a man peace of mind, No bible verse can take that away from such a person..

Nonetheless, if you want to successfully be in good terms with any man, you must be able to provide him with the costly but yet affordable peace of the mind. 

In married homes, 95% of  marriages are still intact because the wife is ready to provide the man with peace of the mind. 

The peace without complaints, peace devoid of Nagging, Peace where understanding is esteemed, Peace without  fights and grudges ...

Once you can offer a man peace, rhetorically you've answered that troubling question, "What does a man want" ..

6. Men Always wants to be Men 

Don't belittle any man in any form. No matter how poor, wretched, foolish, uneducated and silly he is. 
Don't think because such a man isn't complete as you had imagined and you decide to treat him with disrespect. They will always fight back because "Men will always be Men at all cost"...

They will always show that sense of responsibility, that difference in choices, that utmost urge for respect, Partnership and relationship, and portray that Hero-like character....

Hence, no matter how pushed to the walls, they will always Want to show that they are men...

Conclusively,
Men wants their time. They want their distance.
Men wants like-minds and not liability. They want partners, partners that can build a home with them not devaluing their peace of mind.

No matter how you view it, Men wants RESPECT.

These are the things they want...
